Anthony Essel-Anderson will be the new chair of the WomensTrust Ghana board. Previously vice chair of WomensTrust, Anthony is a long-time, dedicated contributor to our mission and brings a valuable skill set to the organization. A lecturer and consultant on business and finance, he is chair of the Academic Programmes Committee of Ashesi University College and has a special interest in budgeting and control, enterprise risk management, financial reporting, and personal finance and accountability. We are grateful for his service and leadership.

WomensTrust Staffer Named to Ghana Municipal Assembly

Gertrude Ankrah, long-time WomensTrust program development and marketing director, has been appointed to Ghana's Municipal Assembly and placed on the gender and social services sub-committees. In this new role, Gertrude is eager to bring her vision and passion for empowering girls through education to the national stage. Congrats, Gertie!
